CVG fir floor with quartersawn white oak around the perimeter of the room.

This was a wood floor that had CVG fir in the middle and rift and quartersawn white oak along the edges. We removed the CVG fir and replaced it with new rift and quartersawn white oak.

CVG Fir removed.

After we removed the CVG fir we installed the quartersawn white oak.

When the white oak was installed, we sanded the whole room.

Sanded floor, but not finished.

Next, the first coat of sealer was applied.

First coat is a sealer.

The final coats were applied. We used Bona Traffic HD waterborne finish.  It matches beautifully and you would never be able to tell there was a repair done!
